I recently picked up this top in TOPSHOP. Until this purchase I hadn't jumped on the 'peplum trend' band-wagon so I decided that this top was a good place to start! It's neutral colour and subtle peplum detail means that I can still get plenty of wear out of it once the peplum trend has passed. The leopard print heels were bought on sale in DUNE many months ago and have stood the test of time and style excellently. These pieces were the starting point of this party outfit - I teamed the peplum top with simple black H&M shorts, a leopard cuff and MK rose-gold watch. This outfit proved to be the perfect party outfit as I danced all night long! What's your favorite party threads?

Simple, Purple, Monday.
Today - Monday 30th July was all about comfort for me! I decided to team a lilac super soft tee from ZARA with my trusty TOPSHOP high-waisters and white flatforms - which are becoming surprisingly more comfortable the more I wear them! Some wrist candy added an element of quirkiness to this otherwise plain ensemble. What's your comfy go-to ensemble?
I like to mix bracelets of different textures, metals and colours to make a simple outfit, like this one,
more interesting. The leopard bracelet was bought on sale for only 4 euro in RIVER ISLAND-a British High-street store. I think it adds a bit of quirkiness to my wrist! The MICHEAL KORS watch (my baby!) adds a bit of sophistication to this plain ensemble.

Florals & Studs
I have been thinking about what my first EVER blog post would be for the past few weeks and it seemed that I just didn't have enough confidence in my ideas. Then, this shot landed on my laptop completely by accident and was unplanned. Today I decided to take a leap of faith and use this photograph (taken by my sister on her trusty iPhone) as the main feature of my first blog post. This shot was impromtu and that's why I feel it is a good place to start - me in a natural stance (on the right) , enjoying a rare sunny day in Dublin, wearing a comfortable dress and my pride and joy - gold studded pumps. Welcome to Fashion Banana - a slice of my fashion life :-)
